Ellen is an international coach with clients in North America, South America, Asia Pacific, Russia, and throughout Europe. She works individually with top executives and CEOs of global organizations. As a result of her domestic and international experience, she has developed the ability to guide these executives into becoming more effective leaders and communicators.
A sampling of her client list includes executives from The Boston Consulting Group, Haygroup Canada, Amex, Bertelsmann, Monsanto, Merrill Lynch, Tupperware, KKR Capstone, Wyeth, Rogers Corporation, Fresenius, Barclaycard US, Fidelity, BlackRock, Digitas, and Banco Unicredito.
In addition to her designs around leadership, Ellen has created and delivered workshops dealing with the art of storytelling and handling skeptical audiences. She has also been commissioned to design programs that reflect the ever-changing landscape of skills her clients desires. Her passion for helping individuals find and articulate their unique messages is deep. Her dedication to clients is evident in every encounter she has with them; their feedback is reflective of this.
Prior to her work with corporate clients, Ellen spent twenty-four years as a member of the Metropolitan Opera where she performed in more than 100 productions alongside some of our generation’s greatest opera stars. After leaving the Met she worked with singers to coach the drama, explore the text, and to incorporate these skills with gesture, movement, stagecraft, and physical eloquence. A partial list of her accomplishments includes teaching Master Classes and directing for Santa Fe Opera, Sarasota Opera, National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Metropolitan Opera Guild, Manhattan School of Music, The Juilliard School, Mannes College of Music, Classical Singer National Convention, and New York Singing Teachers’ Association (NYSTA) National Symposium. She is a founding and continuing faculty member of Martina Arroyo’s summer workshop, Prelude to Performance.
